When: Sunday, June 15th to Sunday, June 22, 2008.
Who: Hosted by the San Francisco chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design, in partnership with other San Francisco design groups, museums, businesses, and schools.
What: A celebration of San Francisco Bay Area design to include an opening reception, Business and Design forums, Design Short Film Festival, exhibitions, lectures, mixers, and a closing “Flavor of SF Design” party. More details to come as programing is finalized.
Where: Various Bay Area venues.
Goal: To raise public awareness of Design and more importantly San Francisco Bay Area Design, including but not limited to Graphic, Product, Interior, Fashion, Architecture, Advertising, etc. Showcase and celebrate our impact on business innovation and efforts towards sustainability, social impact, human rights and political reform.
Target Audiences: Over 20,000 Bay Area design professionals, the Bay Area businesses community, the design-savvy general public, tourists, and more.
The San Francisco Chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design, represents over 1,300 designers in graphics, interaction, experience, motion, and affiliated fields in the Greater Bay Area.
